We are looking for a motivated Student Research Assistant with the willingness to support our introductory programming class "Object-Oriented Programming for Transport Engineers". In this class, students learn how to program in Java in the context of transport modeling.
The position is 8 hours per week and initially funded for 6 months (hours can be allocated flexibly to some extent). Basic knowledge of or interest in transport modeling, the willingness to program in Java and solid knowledge of the English language are required (German is not needed for this position). Additionally, experience with GIS-data and –programs are an advantage. After six months, it is possible to continue working as a student research assistant with the group, subject to the performance of the successful applicant and available funding.
