TUM maintains a research station on the coastal city of Malindi, Kenya which has already been used by many TUM affiliates. The research station is available for use by TUM students and employees for internship or individual research projects. Several partnerships have been established with various local schools, universities and organisations working in the fields of health care, education, nature conservation and biodiversity.

Technical University of Munich (TUM) Asia is pleased to offer the TUM Asia Scholarship for TUM graduate and postgraduate students interested to apply for our Master degree programmes. This TUM Asia Scholarship is awarded to high-quality candidates in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements, strong leadership qualities, good moral character as well as good recommendations or testimonials. The scholarship amounts to 50% of the tuition fee, with no bonds attached.

Scholarhips are available for language courses in universities in the following countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Hungary.
The grants generally include tuition fees, housing, meals and excursions. Travel expenses and health insurance must be covered by the students.
