Oberflächenahe Geothmerie im Energienutzungsplan München

The City of Munich is currently developing a new spatial energy plan together with the TUM and ENIANO. Recently, an outline of this project was presented at the Münchner Klimaherbst 2018. The TUM Chair of Hydrogeology contributes to a comprehensive potential assessment of renewable energy sources in Munich by adding the potential of thermal groundwater use to the new energy plan. For the first time, such a quantitative study will be integrated to support strategic decisions towards a climate friendly heating and cooling supply of our city.
