Vitae

Ana Moreno studied Civil Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in Spain. From 2007 to 2015, she worked as a research assistant at the Highway Engineering Research Group at UPV, where she completed her doctorate in 2015. During her doctoral studies, she was a visiting scholar at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada and the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, USA; and a visiting researcher at the Federal Highway Research Institute (Bundesanstalt für Straßenwesen) in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. Since 2016, she is a senior research associate at the Research Group on Modeling Spatial Mobility at the Technical University of Munich.

  • Traffic operations and road safety on two-lane highways
  • Traffic calming in urban areas
  • Geometric design of two-lane highways
