Curriculum Vitae

From 2017

Department of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Munich

Research Associate

I joined the Modeling Spatial Mobility research group following the completion of a Master of Science in

Transportation Systems at TUM. My primary research focus is the development of a mode choice model for
the Munich metropolitan region based on data from a national household travel survey. The model will be
integrated within the transport demand model, MITO, which is being developed at the research group.

2016

PTV Transport Consult GmbH, Karlsruhe

Intern

During my graduate studies, I interned at PTV for three months. At PTV, I supported the Traffic Planning and
Technology group in performing scenario analyses on a macroscopic transport demand model built for the
Stuttgart region in VISUM. I also assisted the group in simulating traffic for a tram-line extension project in
Heidelberg using VISSIM.

2014 - 2017

Department of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Munich

Student, Graduate (M.Sc Transportation Systems)

During my studies at TUM, I worked as a student research assistant at the Modeling Spatial Mobility research
group, the Chair of Urban Structure and Transport Planning and the Institute of Road, Railway and Airfield
Construction.

At the Modeling Spatial Mobility research group, I assisted in developing a tutorial course to analyse travel
behavior econometrically. I prepared R scripts to demonstrate the analysis of a household travel survey
dataset under a discrete choice framework.

At the Chair of Urban Structure and Transport Planning, I supported the research on multimodal mobility
concepts. I reviewed mobility concepts integrating public transport systems with shared-mobility services
worldwide, and assisted in the evaluation of a similar concept for Munich.

At the  Institute of Road, Railway and Airfield Construction, I worked on customizing the operation of a
multibody simulation software, SIMPack.

2012 - 2014

Larsen & Toubro Ltd., India

Engineer

At Larsen & Toubro, I was part of a group responsible for the design of a dedicated freight railway corridor. I
supervised the progress of on-site topographic surveys, structured survey data for alignment design, reviewed
alignment designs, and facilitated the interface between alignment design and other related works like bridge
design, track design, embankment design, drain design and construction.
