New paper in ESPL now available online

Debris flows are destructive mass movements in alpine regions. In a new paper, appeared in Earth Surface Processes and Landforms (ESPL), Andreas Dietrich and Michael Krautblatter detected geomorphic change induced by an erosive debris flow in the Allgaeu Alps. Momentum and shear stress computed by a calibrated numerical model (RAMMS Debris Flow) explain erosion up to 68 %. You can read the full paper here.
